1. My walk back from school takes me along the road where the yarn bomber lives! Some very lovely and uplifting motifs and messages.
2. It’s a Bicycle Bakery day and that means a cookie as big as your face (or a cookie smile when you get half a cookie!)
3. K’s reward for learning to cycle was a load of stickers. I think it’s safe to say she’s put a few on her bike, including a rather apt one on the back. On the way to the park we spot a poem cemented into the wall, which it turns out was very popular in the 1930s and 40s.

One is nearer God’s heart in a garden
Than anywhere else on earth
